Zusammenfassung
In this paper, we present a new heuristic method for the job-shop scheduling problem with vague processing times. Although the job-shop scheduling problem has often been investigated, very little of this research is concerned with the uncertainty characterized by the imprecision in problem variables. The method introduced combines standard scheduling methods like retrograde termination and loadbalanced scheduling with fuzzy methods. As a benefit we are able to handle vagueness and to integrate both human knowledge and human reasoning processes in the scheduling process.
